Folio (305 x 210 mm). Early 20th century crushed morocco gilt, covers paneled in gilt with central arabesques enclosing "Dante" and "MDLXXVIII" on upper and lower cover respectively, a.e.g. Title and a few preliminary leaves lightly waterstained, title with 2 edge repairs on verso, a handful of leaves browned, joints cracked with chipping at head and tail of spine.

Second Sansovino edition of the Divine Comedy, with an attractive title-page portrait of the poet. Adams D108.
