The second Florentine edition of Dante, according to John Carlyle (Dante's Divine Comedy, 1858, p xiii). Described by Brunet as "belle" and "rare," this edition has a full-page woodcut of Dante in the woods. We can trace only one copy at auction in the last 40 years. Adams D85.
