An Orson Welles (?) costume design sketch by Vittorio Nino Novarese from "Prince of Foxes"
20th Century Fox, 1949. Watercolor and pen and ink on paper; depicting two elaborately costumed men; one appearing to be Orson Welles who portrayed "Cesare Borgia;" both images signed in the corner by the noted Italian costumier; unknown if this is one or two separate drawings as both are now framed side by side; together with a small watercolor of a Biblical-era boat also signed by Novarese.
Matted and framed: 20 x 30in; Sketches only: 12 x 8in
