Gujba is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful meteorites in the world, with huge brecciated silicate and metal globules and dark fragment-rich matrix. A stunning and unique appearance is created by the reddish oxide and cream, grey, red, black and brown colors of the silicates against the bright metal spheroids. A distinctive characteristic of these meteorites is the presence of large, irregular white inclusions called CAIs (Calcium-Aluminum Inclusions), which are among the oldest material in the solar system.
