A Colt Model 1878 Frontier double action revolver
Serial no. 26881 for 1890, .45 Colt. 7 1/2 inch barrel. Blued finish. Checkered hard rubber rampant Colt grips. Lanyard ring.
Condition: Barrel and frame with 60-65% blue showing most wear to gripstraps, top of frame and ejector rod housing. Cylinder with grey metal showing browned patina in flutes. Tight action. Grips showing some fading and wear.
