An early U.S. Colt single action army revolver
Serial no. 31530 for 1876, .45 caliber. 7 1/2 inch barrel serial numbered 1023. Cylinder serial numbered 1575. Barrel, cylinder and frame all with inspector's mark J.T.C. (John T. Cleveland) Older reblued finish overall. Unmarked oil-finished walnut grips. Together with black leather military-style holster marked J. Cummings/Springfield/Mass.
Condition: Good. Retaining most of the dull period reblue showing some very light wear to markings. Grips with minor marks and are probably a period replacement. Holster scuffed.
