Torse d'Adèle, modèle avec large base sous le buste, 1878/c. 1940
incised 'A. Rodin' (lower right side of pedestal), with the foundry mark 'A. Rudier Fondeur Paris' (on the edge of the pedestal) and stamped with the raised signature 'A. Rodin' (on the interior)
conceived in 1878, this bronze version was cast in the early 1940s by the Alexis Rudier foundry
bronze with dark brown patina
