A Massachusetts Arms Company Maynard-primed percussion pocket revolver
Serial no. 621, .28 caliber. 2 1/4 inch blued barrel. Top strap marked Mass Arms Co/Chicopee Falls. Six-shot cylinder etched with florals and panoplies of arms. Scroll-engraved frame, the gripstrap engraved with foliage. Primer door marked Maynard's Patent/Sep 22 1845. Silver-plated triggerguard. Walnut grips.
Condition: Fine. Barrel/release lever with 75-85% thin blue finish. Cylinder with excellent scene. Frame with sharp engraving, the primer door with traces of finish. Excellent grips.
