A British East India Company pattern flintlock dragoon pistol
The 9 inch tapered round barrel in .66 caliber. Breech with London view and proof. Tower lock with crown and GR cipher, broad arrow and two line border. Flat cock. Brass furniture, the counterplate marked 5.0.3. Full walnut stock, unmarked. Iron ramrod.i>
Condition: Very good. Metal with mottled grey/brown patina showing sharp markings and some light pitting. Barrel and ramrod showing traces of heavy black lacquer finish. Stock showing numerous marks, 1 inch sliver at right fore-end and with split on underside of fore-end.
