Autograph Letter Signed ("T-Lautrec"), 2 pp rectos only, 8vo, [Paris, 1890s,] to [André] Marty, in French, matted and framed with two portraits and a translation to 13 by 22 inches.
Graphic and urgent letter mentioning Yvette Guilbert and Lautrec's artwork. In full, in translation: "My dear Marty, I have come to talk to you very seriously about our Yvette. Please have the kindness to fix up an appointment with me at rue Caulaincourt where I am living at the moment. I have prints to put to text. I will be at Arnoud's tomorrow, Tuesday afternoon around 3 o'clock. Try to come early."
Marty was a well-known art publisher in Paris who also editioned Lautrec's works.
SOLD WITH: A Photographed Signed by Yvette Guilbert and inscribed for P. Coppola, dated 1933, 8 by 10 inches. This with two closed tears and a tape repair.
