British officials accompanying figures atop an Indian elephant (possibly members of the Royal party at the Durbar), charcoal and monochrome wash heightened with white, unframed 39.5 x 53.5cm; together with a montage including an original pen and ink sketch of an attaché waiting at Delhi Railway station for the arrival of an overdue maharajah, and a page from The Daily Graphic featuring the same illustration; lot also includes a sketchbook, a scrapbook and various ephemera relating to King George V's Durbar and tour of India (1911-12) and the Prince of Wales' trip to India (1905), a lot.
