The teacups of cylindrical form with solid gilt loop handle, all decorated with reserves depicting various French battle scenes, including Passage du Rhin, Poitiers, Guinegate, Marignan, Villaviciosu and Conie, framed by burnished gilt and scrolling foliate decoration, and reserved against a bleu-de-roi ground, the saucers each similarly decorated by a French chateau scene surround by foliate garlands and reserved against a matching bleu-de-roi ground; coffee can 7cm high, saucer 14cm diam, (12)
