A pair of Meissen-style sweet dishes
The leaf-shaped dishes of white ground with geometrically-patterned rims, with a turquoise and gilt ribbon pattern to the interior, the well of each decorated with brightly-painted depictions of fruit and flowers, each dish with a relief-moulded green "branch" handle, culminating in encrusted flowers, and with blue crossed swords mark to the underside, measuring 20cms by 16cms, together with a Meissen-style saucer, cup and cover, each decorated with rows of white encrusted flowers, with further relief-moulded roses and foliage on top, the cup and cover also with relief-moulded yellow birds, the cover with a bird sat on a branch forming a handle, the well of the saucer decorated with small painted floral depictions, the saucer measuring 12cms diameter, and the cup with cover on 10.5cms high (4).
