A Chinese blue and white jardiniere
Late 19th or early 20th century, the jardiniere of ovoid form with circular rim, decorated with white Prunus depictions against a blue ground, with a thin band of geometric pattern around the rim of the jardiniere, 22cms diameter and 22.5cms high, together with a small jardiniere, of ovoid body with circular rim, of white ground with blue depictions of flowers, birds and butterflies, 16cms diameter and 14.5cms high (2).
