The clasp stamped '15ct',
the central plaque designed as a bird above a lozenge-shaped panel of opal, heightened in white and red translucent enamel and emblematic of a phoenix rising from a flaming pool, with three opal drops below, the chain swags rising to a cloud and sunburst panel centred by an opal collet, and heightened in shades of orange and white translucent enamel, the chain with two opal dividers, two cloud-shaped dividers heightened in orange and white translucent enamel, and two freshwater pearls, engraved to the reverse 'I shall not die, but live and declare, the words of, the Lord, Ps: 118:17, Sep 1903', 7.5cm long, chain 58cm long.
