A Rare 1788 Pattern Light Cavalry Officer's Sabre Of The 7th Light Dragoons
80cm blade with traces of engraving, regulation gilt brass hilt with coffin shaped pommel engraved with a stand of arms, the large diamond shaped langets also engraved with stands of arms, the knuckleguard engraved with foliage, the cloth covered grip encased in gilt brass pierced with a fretwork design, in its leather covered wood scabbard with ribbed gilt brass mounts engraved with foliage. (Fretwork on grip with slight repairs, scabbard worn)
