  • John Newberry was born in Horsham, Sussex in 1934, and was educated at Kingswood School in Bath. He read Architecture at Cambridge and Fine Art at Newcastle-Upon-Tyne with Lawrence Gowing and Victore Passmore. He later taught at The Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, Oxford University and is a member of the Royal Watercolour Society.
