A Georgian amethyst set mourning ring
The foiled back mixed-cut amethyst in closed back pinched collet setting with glazed hairwork panel to the reverse, wavy shank decorated with white enamel with gold lettering reading 'Elizabeth Williams, Died 6th April 1735', ring size K½.
