A Heath sextant
The sextant in a fitted wooden box with various further lenses and attachments, the box with label "J Sewill, Chronometer Maker to the Admiralty, 61 South Castle Street, Liverpool", and to the inside of the lid, a "Certificate of Examination" from the National Physical Laboratory, Kew Observatory, dated January 1912, the sextant together with a Hydrographic Office Rude Star Finder and Identifier, with various astrological charts (2).
