The double basket weave dishes painted with floral sprigs, and surmounted by a gallant and female companion figure, each holding a flower in a raised hand, both dressed in 18th Century attire, he wears a black tricorn hat and crimson jacket, she wears a floral decorated corset dress, with ruffled decoration, each mounted upon a rococo style scrolling base, heightened with turquoise, pink and gilt flashes of colour; 13cm and 12.5cm high, both underglazed blue crossed swords mark to base, gallant figure inscribed number 3024, painted number 6, female figure indistinct number to base, painted number 16, (hat restored at peak).
