A Masons Ironstone part dinner service, circa 1820-30
Decorated with turquoise, pink and orange floral borders, with the wells brightly decorated with pink and orange flowers in an Oriental vase with a seated bird beneath, the service consisting of seventeen plates with gently scalloped rims, two oval platters with scalloped rims and lobed handles, four platters with scalloped rims and a lobed handle, two rectangular platters with lobed handles, a tureen, two small circular dishes with scalloped rims, and a pair of twin-handled lidded pots with gilt highlights to the handles and the cover knops, impressed and printed marks.
