A pair of Berlin porcelain figures
Circa 1840
Modelled as a rustic farmer and his female companion, he wears a wide brimmed hat and flowered frock coat, she wears a flowery dress and apron, both with winnowing baskets, each standing on a square plinth base, detailed with blue flowers, 15cm high, red printed orb and KPM mark and impressed letter L, (hat restored), together with a pair of late 19th Century Dresden figures, decorated in the Meissen style, the first figure wearing a black tricorn hat, stood beside a basket filled with red grapes, the second figure modelled as a rustic female figure, wearing a straw hat and carrying a sheaf of corn, mounted on naturalistic square bases, both 15cm high, black printed mark.
