A Continental porcelain plaque, possibly German
Late 19th Century
Of circular form with deep well, finely painted depicting a smiling man wearing traditional rustic clothing holding his glass up, surrounded by a sectional floral swag and urn decorated rim, painted in colours, within gilt spear head borders; 37cm diam, titled in gilt to base 'Prosit', (translating to cheers or good health in German), Augustus Rex style cypher, impressed number F34.
