A turned ash frame ladderback open arm elbow chair by Edward Gardiner, circa 1950, designed by Ernest Gimson, 'The Bedales'
With three curved 'ladders' to the back, rush seat on turned legs united by turned stretchers, stamped 'Ed. Gardiner' to the inside of one back leg.
