The flat lid decorated with a single tulip with traces of front denticulations, palm tree thumbpiece and swan neck handle with boot heel terminal, the drum engraved with a bird amongst tulips, underside of lid stamped with the initials MR, touchmark in base of Lawrence Anderton, Wigan, (w.?-1685),(OP5386, PS320), height 15.5cm
