- A loosely-inserted list gives captions to the Burmese images and is signed E.E. Ricketts (see upper cover of album). The Sierra Leone group (16 gelatin silver prints) is of considerable interest including: Kroo Bay; Freetown from King Tom (panorama); Freetown from Mt. Aureol (panorama); Port Lokkoh; Ascension Town; Pademba Road; Moa River; Washerwomen Fourah Bay; H.M.S. Goldfinch, and a loosely-inserted view of the native welcome to General Graves on a platform of the Sierra Leone Railway with carriage (stamp on verso of A. Lisk-Carew of photographer of Freetown. Others include: Ranikhet (4); Umballa hunting trip Christmas 1899 (6); Lucknow (2); Dagshai (4); Simla (2), and a loosely inserted pair depicting elephants together with printed captions denoting them as Nos. 5 and 10 from an elephant-related series [1888].
