  • A fine copy of a very scarce book with excellent topographical views as well as an important series of ethnographic portraits. In 1881 Gerrard Ansdell (son of the animal painter), set out from Melbourne with a younger brother, in search of an older brother thought to be coffee planting in Fiji. He was eventually tracked down in Viti Levu.
