Of rectangular form with brass bound corners, the lid with cartouche engraved 'Wm M. Anderson', opening to reveal an interior with a green leather replacement skiver with embossed gilt decoration, small recess section with fitted ink bottles, removable tray and candle stick, also fitted with a secret drawer opening to reveal three small drawers. 45.5cm wide, 25.5cm deep, 19cm high (17.5" wide, 10" deep, 7" high)
