Painted with a chinoiserie scene depicting a figure seated by a table with objects and a smoking vase, flanked by flowering plants and a short fence on one side, within a shaped gilt quatrefoil cartouche enclosing Böttger lustre and embellished with iron-red scrollwork, gilt scrollwork border to the rim, three iron-red concentric circles on the reverse, 12.6cm diam., gilt numeral 53., incised / inside footrim
