• This was an extremely busy day for the Beatles. In the afternoon, following a concert for members of the Northern Area Fan Club, the group taped a special edition of the popular TV panel show, 'Juke Box Jury' at the Empire Theatre. After then recording a short interview for later broadcast on the Light programme, the group raced to the nearby Odeon Theatre for two performances as part of their ongoing tour.
