sent from 20 Forthlin Road and with original s.a.e. dated 28 APR 1963, the single typewritten sheet reading, 'Dear Jenny, Thanks for writing, nice to hear from you again. The last song on the Empire was 'Long Tall Sally'. I'm glad your step-father enjoyed 'Tuesday Rendezvous' (Give him my regards and tell him I'm sure he's the best looking step-father in Queen's Drive.) I'm sure it was nothing to do with me that you passed your mock G.C.E., but if I can be of any assistance, call on my photo any time...(big head) HEE! HEE! Anyway, thanks again for everything, Jenny, Cheerio', and signed and inscribed in blue ink by Paul, 20.5 x 25.5cm (8 x 10in)

  • The vendor wrote asking Paul the title of the last song in the Beatles' set at the Liverpool Empire, 24th March, which she was unable to hear because of the screaming. She also mentioned that her step-father thought Paul the best-looking in the group and that she had taken Paul's photo into her school examination!
