playing eight unidentified airs, with large single-spring motor, 16-key reed organ flanking double-section combs, eight-tooth drum select to the left and six tooth combs for both bells and castanet select to the far-right, buffet-rack engraved bells with crown top strikers, half-length zither attachment on reeded cast gilt bedplate, pierced fretted front soundboard in ebonised interior under glass dustlid featuring unusual inlaid decoration to frame of swaged flowers in white, rhubarb pink and emerald green French enamels, figured burr-walnut panel inside the lid, in matching burr-walnut veneered case, slight-domed lid in quarter cuts framed by petit kingwood crossbanding and double boxwood stringing, canted corners to repeating inlay to front and sides, ormolu carrying handles, on matching period stand with straight apron, on ring-turned supports terminating with white porcelain castors - 27in. (69cm) wide, the cylinder 14in. (36cm), the height with stand 42.1/2in. (108cm)
