playing a comprehensive programme of dance, folk and patriotic airs, with double-spring motor, double-section comb with full-length zither attachment, comb screws with typical pressed flower-head gilt washers, on reeded cast gilt bedplate in ebonised interior, Joseph Riley retailer's transfer below coloured tunesheet inside the lid, full-width glass dustlid, in rosewood veneered case with the slight-domed lid bearing large Conch shell on shaped octagonal ground, lighter inlaid border crossbanding with single boxwood stringing, repeated to front and sides - 33in. (84cm) wide, the cylinder 17.1/2in. (44.4cm)
