with large single-spring motor, the mandoline teeth in groups of up to eight across 2/3rds of the single-section comb, on reeded cast gilt bedplate in ebonised interior under dustlid, tunesheet on matching ebonised ground, in figured oak veneered case, slight-domed lid veneered in rosewood with geometric rondo in coromandel bearing a spray of flowers, flanked by shell pediment and leaf swag border, kingwood crossbanding and quadruple boxwood stringing to the edge - 22.3/4in. (58cm) wide, the cylinder 11in. (28cm) wide, the diameter 3.3/8in. (8.5cm)
