playing four operatic airs, small single-spring motor, single-section comb of approximately 78 hooked teeth, on reeded cast gilt bedplate in part faded red stained interior, lacking tunesheet, in blonde fruitwood case with end-flap and large hook-and-eye lid fastening, with period key - 12.1/4in. (31cm) wide, the cylinder 6in. (15cm)

    The third air has been indentified as Ombre Legeré from Le Pardon de Ploermel, which was written in 1858. The title is now better known as Dinorah L'Africaine.
