Gold frame, the reverse glazed to reveal strands of hair tied with gold wire and split seed pearls, seed pearl monogram AB on blue glass plaque, all set on blue glass.

Footnotes

  • Arthur Blake was promoted to Captain on the 21st April 1804 and retired from service on the 6th May 1813. In 1797, his father, John Blake reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the same regiment, transferring to the 3rd Foot (Buffs) in 1804.
