- Captain Edwin Sandys: Cornet, 1st Dragoons 22.12.1804; Lieutenant, 1st Dragoons 30.7.1807; Captain, 1st Dragoons 19.8.1808; Captain, 12th Dragoons 30.3.1809. Served with distinction in the Peninsula Wars. He died of his wounds shortly after Waterloo.
The entry on the Waterloo Prize Roll has him as discharged dead and his share of £90.5s.3 3/4d was paid to a lady named Gorgina (sic) Elizabeth Swann via a solicitor.
