  • Second Lieutenant Herbert Fearn was killed in action on 12.10.1917, aged 20. He served with the 8th Battn East Surrey Regiment, formerly London Regiment (Artists' Rifles). He is buried in the Poelcapelle British Cemetry. He was the son of Mrs A.Fearn of 59 Wavetree Road, Streatham Hill, London, and the late Alfred Fearn.
