A Second World War D.F.C. to Warrant Officer K.L.O.Blow, Royal Air Force,
Distinguished Flying Cross, G.VI.R., dated 1943. In Royal Mint case of issue. With 1939-1945 Star with Battle of Britain Bar (tailor's copy); France and Germany Star, with Atlantic bar; Defence Medal; War Medal. With an early photograph of his grave pre CWGC standard headstone, cap badge and four books and pamphlets. Extremely fine. (Lot)

    Warrant Officer Kenneth Leslie Owen Blow served with 235 Squadron in early July 1940 and served with it throughout the Battle of Britain. During 1943 he was with 487 (R.N.Z.A.F.) Squadron flying in Venturas. He was killed in action on 10th December 1943 and is buried in Den Ham General Cemetry. He was the son of Edward and Annie Elizabeth Blow of Luton, Bedfordshire.
