With browned damascus twist sighted barrels with chiselled maker's details along the rib in front of the breeches and stamped 'H. Vincent' on one barrel beneath, case-hardened action engraved along each side with stags and hinds in landscapes between engraved and chiselled strapwork and foliage, the decoration extending back along the tapering lever with slightly hooked spring-catch at the rear, the action operating against two hinges and automatically cocked on opening for loading, brass striker heads, and the internal working parts burnished bright, highly figured half-stock with chequered grip, blued and case-hardened steel mounts decorated en suite with the action and including scrolled sprung cocking-lever in front of the trigger-guard, vacant silver escutcheon, and nearly all its original finish, Liège proof
