Non-selective single-triggers, the toplevers, ribs and forend-tips numbered '1', '2' and '3' in gold, best bouquet and foliate-scroll engraving, cocking-indicators, much hardening-colour, well-figured stocks with recoil-pads (No. 3 replaced by the makers), the lower edges inlaid in gold 'HWEL' over '1', '2' & '3' respectively, the chopper-lump barrels with game-ribs engraved J. Purdey & Sons, Audley House, South Audley Street, London, England
