Gilt brass full plate movement with four square baluster pillars, pierced and engraved balance bridge with steel end cap, silver regulation, verge escapement and fusee, champlevé dial with black Roman numerals bordered by scalloped minute track and outer Arabic divisions at five minute intervals, date aperture above six o'clock, later fancy hands, plain case with swivelling bow and maker's mark (?)R, movement signed Bernick, Amsterdam
