Surmounted by a brass handle over arched glazed side apertures on a moulded plinth, the seven inch brass break arched dial with rococo spandrels, silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with concentric calendar, strike/silent subsidiary to the arch, matted centre with recessed signed silvered cartouche and painted pierced steel hands to the twin gut fusee movement with foliate engraved backplate, verge escapement and rack striking on a bell 50cm (19.5in) high.
