GERALD BENNEY: A unique 18 carat gold 'stirrup' cup and cover,
London 1967,
the pull-off cover with fine brushed textured surface, with elongated curved lines, the polished end of the spire inset with a diamond, the bowl with a narrow polished band above a fine textured surface applied with numerous polished tubes, the ends inset with gem stones including diamonds, sapphires and emeralds, the tubes slightly vary in length and width, the upper section with shorter tubes, increasing in sizes through the central section and the base with caped tubes to sit flat, the interior with a bright polished surface, total weight 469gms.
Sold for £60,000 inc. premium
