An emerald, ruby and half-pearl brooch, circa 1830
The fine gold cannetille surround with beaded detail and half-pearl, step-cut emerald and oval mixed-cut ruby highlights, suspending to the front a cut-cornered step-cut emerald drop, all in closed-back settings, later converted to a brooch, length 3.7cm.
