retaining its 19th century leather upholstery, the rectangular padded back on channelled arm supports carved to the top with scrolls, the front right leg carved with acanthus leaves, a shell and trailing bellflowers, on castors, the front left leg an early 19th century replacement and not carved, the back left leg also restored in the early 19th century, the seat externally 71cm wide x 70cm deep, the back 104cm high
