An early 20th century French rouge marble and ormolu figural mantel clock.

Surmounted by a torch and quiver of arrows, placed by the figure of Venus, opposed by the seated Cupid, bordering the 4.25 inch white enamel Arabic dial, over the marble plinth with an applied ormolu floral panel over a low relief panel enriched with frollicking putti, raised on toupie feet, the drum movement stamped 'L.G', striking on a bell and regulated via an arbor accessed from the dial. 42cm (16.5in)
