- As on Heuer chronographs of the 1940's and 1950's the movement is marked with a serial number. Serial numbers on the chrono bridge would soon be discontinued. The inside of the case back is signed "ED. HEUER & Co SWISS". This was the company's registered name prior to the 1964 merger with Leonidas, after which it officially became Heuer-Leonidas. Production in this configuration was only between 1962 and 1963.
The watch is a rare survivor in fantastic condition with only a dozen pieces known to the collector's worldwide.
