Footnotes

  • The red Silverstone first appeared in the 1974 Heuer catalogue. It had a short product lifecycle and after three years of production it was last shown in the 1977 catalogue. Tag Heuer re-launched the Silverstone in 2010 to celebrate there 150th Anniversary and it is only available with blue or brown dial variations.

To mark this very special auction and their 150th anniversary, Tag Heuer were delighted to produce a unique watch. The case back also features the engraving "SILVERSTONE-UNIQUE PIECE 1/1 – CALIBRE 11 – 150th ANNIVERSARY 1860-2010" making this a truly unique watch.
