Letter signed ("Frederick Delius"), the text in the hand of his wife Jelka, with autograph additions, to Robin Legge, regretting that he cannot come to England for the performance of his Song of the High Hills as he has to stay in Germany for rehearsals of his music for Flecker's Hassan, as well as for a Frankfurt concert celebrating his sixtieth birthday; he also notes that he was unable to attend performances of his Violin Concerto and Appalachia at Wiesbaden, adding that his health is not strong enough for him to undertake two Channel crossing ("...I have had rather a bad time, but am much better now, altho' still rather weak on the legs..."), 4 pages, taped at the left-hand edge onto an album leaf, 8vo, Frankfurt, 5 December 1922
